A SHORT TALE OF LYON

In the west of Europe is found a place whose name sounds historical...A place knowed by many because of it's richissime culture. Many visit for gastronomy and others for souvenirs. The country bears many rivers with poetic names like seine, rhone and soane. With more than 20 cities, today's France is undoubtly the addition of laws, arts, science, technologies a land of opportunities. Those who come mostly visit the doorsteps of Paris: the Eiffel tour. Then they claim to have VISITED france. While the media makes Paris one of the most beautiful city in the world.it is only a diamond in the jewel box.

lyon is another city in france that bears it's name even more meritocratically than any other. It is located in the north-east.Only three hours from Paris and twelve from spain. How many cities can boast of such this proximities? One of the most equiped city in transportation, lyon is open to many cultures and its openness gives it an air of déja vu. But? you need to be in the city to understand the full essence. lyon bears it's name with dignity. For, if the lion is the symbol, it is also the power;which carries more than 3 million inhabitants.

Everybody knows that France carries the title:"land of human rights"but lyon wears the crown. From litterature to arts, lyon honours the strangest stranger. The word stranger is used alot in France for if you are not French you are a stranger. However, I prefere to make it sound less pejorative . Strangers in this case are higly respected because they are an asset to the lyon's empire. As a student,I think education acess in lyon is not that complicated. But, you just have to clear the bushes that lies on your way before entering the door. And when you finally enter, you start to understand how exigeant it is to become a lyonnais.one way to get a place is to love the city's football club and ofcourse players.Olympic lyonnais is one of the best club, If not the best, while rubbing shoulders with those English clubs we all know.

Its so hard to talk about lyon without crossing the olympic lyonnais.Even the prestigious staduim in the heart of the city wear its flag. There is no surprise ,when you know the epic achievements of the players.

In lyon, gastronomy is an art work.As they say in the palace of savoury Lyon is the queen.believe it.if you visit the site you will see for yourself the many tresors hidden in the kitchen.it is the capital of french gastronomy!

This year lyon is welcoming 300 thousand students from abroad. The supreme aim is to share and diffuse the culture, alongside, promoting student international exchange highly emphasized these days by the developed world.

Architecturally lyon is a wonder.its stones wages from the 13th to the 21st century.Notwithstanding the costliness of life in this side of France, Lyon still remains one of the best reference.

Why giving up is the right thing to do

What is giving up? Giving up takes a lot of strength and gut but that is not always how we are meant to see it. Here are some situations were giving up is for the brave.  When you are hurt Who has not been hurt and disappointed by someone or something you put your faith and trust in? Who has not been left bewildered by the amount of pain one can manage when pain is pricking deep into one's heart. Who has not been betrayed by a loved one and abandoned by the people you considered family and friends. Whatever your current predicament or past experiences,in these circumstances, it is better to give up on the hurt than to let it grow into a mustard tree. When you fail Failure is the least of any one's expectation. No body likes to fail and those who seem to embrace failure easily have o...

Reasons believers are more resilient than non-believers

Belief—whether religious, spiritual, or deeply philosophical—can act like emotional scaffolding during life’s storms. Here are some compelling reasons why people with a belief system often demonstrate greater resilience: Sense of Purpose and Meaning Believers often interpret suffering as part of a larger narrative or divine plan. This framing can transform pain into purpose, making adversity feel less arbitrary and more endurable. Hope Anchored in Something Greater Faith provides a long-view perspective. Instead of being crushed by present hardship, believers often hold onto the hope that better days—or eternal peace—lie ahead. Community and Support Networks Religious or spiritual communities offer built-in social support. Whether through prayer groups, congregations, or shared rituals, these networks foster connection and reduce isolation. Practices That Regulate Emotion Prayer, meditation, scripture reading, and worship are more than rituals—they’re proven tools for...

8 ways to utilise the identity script by Napoleon Hill to shape a successful life

Napoleon Hill’s philosophy emphasises intentional identity shaping to achieve success. While there isn’t a widely known "identity script" explicitly attributed to him, his principles can be applied to forge a powerful self-concept. Here are eight ways to utilise his ideas: Define Your Definite Chief Aim – Clearly articulate your life’s purpose and commit to it with unwavering focus. This purpose will be different for each individual. It is not so much about finding it but instead, cultivating it. Ask your self these questions: What brings you joy? What makes you feel most of service to others?  Use Auto-affirmation  – Repeatedly affirm your goals and identity through positive self-talk and visualisation. Sometimes people forget they also deserve the type of positive talk they say to their friends, family and even strangers. People are quick to pour goodness into others yet forget that they can not pour from an empty cup. Cultivate a Burning Desire – Strengthen y...
